Personal documents in file formats not automatically recognized by Kindle (1st Generation) may be converted to a Kindle-recognized format using e-mail. E-mail an attachment to a Kindle e-mail address and Amazon will convert the file and deliver it to your Kindle (1st Generation) or back to your computer.
