Cocktail: Kamikaze on the rocks

This cocktail is the "sophisticated" version of the original Kamikaze shooter that can cause quite a bit of damage, hence the name. I first tasted this drink in Dominican Republic. 

Discovery

 
I'm travelling a lot and two years ago, I visited Mexico and Cuba. Its there that I became a fan of the Mojito. A year later I went to Dominican Republic and they had problem having fresh mint wich is a major ingredient for a good Mojito so the barman suggested the Kamikaze instead. Am I glad that he did. Its so easy to prepare and probably on of the best drink I know. 
 

History

 
The Kamikaze drink recipe was created in Japan and was named after the legendary Kamikaze pilots of World War II.
